What is "Request A Quote" Module ?

Request A Quote - A fully customizable Online form, using which your customer can ask you for the quotation. You can make your Request A Quote form as per your requirement , e.g. you can set the "Upload Supporting Document" field as required which will force the user to provide the requirement detail in a *.DOC, *.TXT, *.ZIP , *.PDF or you can make this field "Hidden" if you do not want the document as an attachment. All is your choice.
       

How to use "Request A Quote" Module ?

Step 1: Place an instance of  "Request A Quote" module on the desire page.


Step 2: Setup the "Admin Option" as per your requirement.


User can change Module Heading, captions and Response Message according to you and can make fields as Optional, Required and hidden. There are six extra fields and user can use if he wants to add any other field on his form.

    

Step 3: User screen will depend on what "Admin Option" has been choosen.


User will fill up the above form by providing his project name, project description ,provide the supporting document, email address, phone number etc( depending on the option available to him, setup in step 3) and press the submit button.

Step 4:: User can change submit button type from Form Layout Page.

Step 5: User will see the "Response Message" (configurable from the "Admin Option")




Step 6:
Check the mail account you specified in the "Admin Option" to "Send Quote Request To Email", you will have the "Request Alert" mail which will show what options user has selected on the form, if user has uploaded the supporting docuemnt you will get it as the attachment in the mail.

Step 7: Check the back up of mails send by you using View Request Page.
